About Scott

D. Scott Fife, Financial Advisor

Scott has been assisting seniors for over 30 years to protect their assets and invest wisely.  Scott has developed a specialty in advising retirees, and those about to retire who want to protect their principal and insure that their money lasts.  His practice focuses on helping pre-retirees and retirees avoid some of the most common financial mistakes.

When people are facing complex financial issues, they need someone who can make sense of it all. Scott's planning process is very simple. He starts with a "you are here" assessment to help you orient yourself with your financial surroundings. "Where do you want to go" is next. It's a discussion about what's important to you in your life and what you want your money to do for you. "How do you get there?" is an on going part of the process which is as much art as it is science and he works on this process with each client, one on one. Scott is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree.  He is also a Certified Estate Planner, which required him to take a 12 month course of study and pass rigorous midterm and final exams covering ten comprehensive areas of estate planning.

Scott lives with his wife, Shelley, and their dog in the Auburn area.  Scott's hobby when he's not advising seniors is ballroom dancing with his wife.
